Meet with the NeuroKind Team for your initial face to face or online consultation.
Your initial consultation is more than an introductory meeting; it is the first step in a collaborative exploration of your experiences and concerns. We focus on identifying your needs, building a strong rapport and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for you to share your stories. This part of the journey is underpinned by a commitment to understanding your lived experience, guided by evidence-based practices that underscores the importance of therapeutic alliance in diagnostic assessments.

Complete and discuss screening assessments (complete prior to session or with psychologist if required).
Our goal is to demystify the assessment process, addressing any concerns and ensuring clients understand that these tools are part of a broader, holistic understanding of their experiences.The choice of screening assessments is evidence-based, selected for their reliability and validity in identifying neurodivergent traits. This step aims to empowering clients with knowledge, preparing them for the comprehensive assessment phase with confidence and informed consent.

Comprehensive Evidence Based Assessment
During the Comprehensive Neurotype Interview two practitioners are involved to deliver a robust assessment process. Our practice is informed by current evidence-based research and best practices for the assessment and diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, to scaffold a comprehensive understanding and identification of neurodivergent traits. As apart of our tailored assessment process offers both online videoconferencing and face to face pathways.
